The departments include clothing, footwear, handbags, jewelry, accessories, cosmetics and fragrances. Additionally, some stores have home furnishings and wedding departments, as well as cafes or restaurants.
As a chain, Nordstrom boasts over 468 stand alone retail stores, including their discount brand, Nordstrom Rack.
